Jeff Parker, CPA

Family: Jeff and his wife have three daughters and one son, two dogs, one cat, one gerbil, one hamster, three turtles, and 21 fish

Jeff joined Mize Houser in May 1985, first working in the Hospitality Accounting Department, then in 1987 moved to the Information Technology department. He graduated from Washburn University in 1992 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, and received his CPA certificate the following year. He became a shareholder in the firm in 2006. Jeff specializes in applying information technology to business processes. From supporting back-end applications that support critical business needs, to extending them through the Internet to end users, Jeff's expertise with business technology is extensive.

Jeff is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Northeast Kansas Chapter of Certified Public Accountants. He has been been a guest speaker about technology subjects for a variety of organizations, and is active in various civic organizations, including serving as president of the YMCA of Topeka Downtown Advisory Board, board member of the YMCA of Topeka Metro Board, and is a member of the Topeka Downtown Rotary Club.
