| Jim Eagan, CPA |
Jim grew up in New York City and fell in love with the Midwest when he attended the University of Kansas – based on his original career goal of becoming a geologist. After graduate school, he served as the accounting officer for the Naval Supply Depot on the island of Guam. (Coincidentally, he relieved a Lieutenant in that position whose last name was Eagan!) After a brief cost-accountant assignment with Hewlett-Packard in Colorado Springs, he found his way back to the same accounting firm in Lawrence, Kansas he had worked for part-time while in school. The change was prompted by a decision to raise his two sons in what he refers to as “small town mid-America”. This firm was a predecessor to Mize Houser.
